Which End Bites? Help
- The fundamentals of Which End Bites? are easy.
- Before you can get answers to your questions, you need to take a few simple steps.
- Firstly, you need to have an account, use the "Join" link (top, right) and enter your details to create an account.
- Don't forget to check your email and validate your email address by clicking on the link that we send you.
- Next you need to log in - use the "Login" link (top, right) to open up the form.
- Once you are logged in, you may leave suggested answers to questions, make comments and ask your own questions.
- To Ask a Question:
- Make sure that you have the photo or picture that you want to ask about handy.
- Make sure that you are logged in.
- Click the "Ask a Question" link (top, right).
- You need to completely fill in the form and select the picture from your computer to upload.
- The website will then process, resize and save a copy of your picture on our server. (Please be patient this can take upto a couple of minutes).
- We will also save your entered details and create your question page.
- That's it - your question is now open for suggestions and comments.
- To Rate a Question:
- Simply select the number of stars that you want to give it.
- Questions should be rated on how interesting they are, higher rated questions will be shown more often, and will receive more attention.
- The Difference between a Suggestion and a Comment:
- Suggestions are the parent of each thread. If you start a new thread for a particular question then that is counted as a "Suggestion" - that is, a suggested answer to the Photo Question.
- Note that while the idea of this site is to find answers to specific questions, we encourage a wide range of questions and, clever, funny, or informative suggestions are all encouraged.
- Comments are all contributions to a conversation that are not starting a new thread. Simply, if you hit reply it's a "comment".
- To Vote on a Suggestion or Comment:
- Simply use the tick or the cross.
- The green tick is for "I think this suggestion is correct" or "I like this comment".
- The red cross is for "I think this suggestion is wrong" or "I don't like this comment".
- Suggestions should be rated on their accuracy, or if they are helpful towards answering the question, (even if they don't answer it directly).
- Comments should be rated positively if they add to the discussion.
- Reporting Questions, Suggestions and Comments
- All questions, suggestions and comments can be reported.
- Use this option if the question, suggestion or comment if offensive or just spam.
- A moderator will review reported items, there will however sometimes be a delay for this to happen, so please just ignore the item until then.
- Reported items will be removed at the discretion of a moderator, however, do not automatically assume that an item will be removed, it may not be.
